Much excitement !
Emilie who is in charge of our accommodation signed up a wonderful new apartment today and it's in the same street as our office (in the heart of
Montmartre) so how convenient is that for popping in to see us and for Sacre Coeur of course ? I'm showing you some photos of it and at the bottom there's a link to our webpage for booking.
It's a one bedroom 62 sq m apartment with sofa bed and another extra bed and and look at this beautiful light and airy salon/salle à manger/cuisine. Nice !
There's a rather gorgeous kitchen area too. Pretty knives. And guess what ? There's an Espresso Machine. Pas mal eh ?
And how about the beautiful grey mosaic shower ?
And when you're ready for bed, there's a calm and quiet bedroom facing south and overlooking a garden inside an internal courtyard and the bed is a
king size (160x200). Cool bedding.
The salle à manger even has a view ! Over the windmill. How about that ?
There's free wifi for your phone or laptop or iPad and the apartment can sleep between 1-5 people.
Nearest métro Abbesses and Blanche.
Isn't it perfect for a stay in Paris ? Minimum number of nights is 3nights. Come !

For the 17th consecutive year, until May 21st, France is celebrating La Fête du Pain : a promotion for good traditional
French baking with plenty of events, competitions and demonstrations. From Wednesday 16th May, there will be all sorts of boulangerie events in the square in front of Notre Dame with prize
competitions for the best croissant and the best baguette. Be sure to visit.
Meeting the French runs weekly visits throughout the year to our favourite Boulangeries to meet bakers who are passionate
about their craft and proud to show off their specialist skills. See our Meeting the French
Website for more details and feel free to ask a question on the Blog here or on our Facebook page
And to whet your appetite, here are some nice photos of what is created at Nature du Pain boulangerie in the 17th
arrondisement.

This is how I spent my Sunday with an exquisite small box of delicious chocolates from one of our favourite chocolate shops
in Paris: Un dimanche à Paris.
Beautiful packaging...
Get the café allongé prepared in our new insulated cups which keeps the coffee hot.
Open the box to reveal chocolate jewels inside. I chose Earl Grey, Caramel Beurre Salé, Praline.
I ate slowly to make the pleasure last longer. But all good things must come to an end......

Until the next time........

Excitement in our office ! We are all fighting to get the chance to go and try out our brand new COOKING CLASS which we
introduced last week : MACARON MAKING WITH CHEF FRÉDÉRIC. Laurence, our Directrice, was the lucky one to take part on Friday and she kindly brought us some of the macarons she made. You always
get to bring them home with you. They were truly amazing.
Here she is dribbling her fresh raspberry filling onto her raspberry macaron case......
Just 2 - 8 participants, so always plenty of personal attention from the adorable Chef Frédéric.

How professional they look. She said it was easy. We all need to learn !

Happy faces in Chef Frédéric's special cooking class dedicated kitchen in his private apartment. We are so lucky to have
found him. He has 20 years of experience, running fabulous luxury restaurants, including the famous Michelin starred La Grande Cascade.

Laurence made Chocolate + Cocoa, Lemon + Raspberry. Oh yum. If you'd like to join Frédéric's Macaron Making Class - you can
visit the MEETING THE FRENCH website for more
details.
See you at the next one ?
