Like every year, the city of Paris presents a unique autumn festival which brings to light contemporary arts and all its expressions. This huge artistic panorama will take place until December, 31st, in many famous places of Paris and the region nearby such as museums (Orsay Museum, Quai Branly Museum and so on), “La Cité de la Musique”, the French cinematheque, the Bastille National Opera and so forth. For nearly four months, anyone will get the luck to enjoy a multidisciplinary and international experience through graphic arts, cinema, music, dance, theater… This year, the main priority will be given to previously unpublished masterpieces in France which were ordered to artists and creators from all over the world.

Little flashback: the festival was created in 1972 by Michel Guy under the desire of the Republic President George Pompidou who wanted to compete with the big cultural festivals in the world like the ones of Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna or even Venice. This year, this event is under the direction of the talented Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota, a French actor and director. This is therefore an ideal moment to visit Paris and its surroundings while discovering the French culture as well as works from the world over. You will be able to meet artists, directors, singers, dancers, painters, designers… and of course hundreds of thousands of tourists looking for a wonderful experience to share.
